I learned that I am very in tune with American History. I feel this is mportant because i never really liked history or thought it was my best subject, but this year chaged it. It could possibly be because of my teacher maybe. He made history fun to me and introduced in a way that was different to me. He got me fascinated to learn more.

In some cases there is ultamite truth. For example, 2+2 will always equal 4, but truth about history always changes from different points of view. Think aobut it, every significant event in history has several books on it with a few different facts. Althogh most of it is understand to be the same some aspects of it will be spoken of differently.

The literature about Fredrick Douglas has underscored material learned in class. In class we a lot about the blacks in history and thier works. Frederick Douglas is connected becasue he is one of the biggest writers of his time. he is also one of the most influential people in history.

(a) Each location was fighting for the American Dream and independence. The people o each location were fighting to make thier lives and the lives of thier people better. (b) I guess because each venue helped shape the America we know of today. (c) In my opinion my history class with Dr.Young made an appeareance on this trip. I say this because we learned a little about the forts and how the people would observe fomr the nearby shore rooting for thier troops. We also learned how these type of venues helped make industries suck as steel big buisseness.

(a) Fort Moultrie respresents the American seacost defence. Fort Sumter represents the strife between North and South during the Civil War. (b) I think Fort Moultrie had far less traffic because of it locations. At the time ships were the main source of transportation in stead of automobiles. Since Fort Sumter is located in the River i could see why there was more traffic there.

(a) Drayton Hall’s idea of preservation helped us to undrestand that it is used in history to keep as much of a historic piece that same as it was in history, while reservation is pretty much building from scratch of how u think an historic piece was. This is bad because you will never be able to imitate everything about the structure, such as foot prints, hand prints, stains on the wall, and etc. (b) The benefits of this is that you are able to keep and historic piece as accurate as possible. (c) The fact that she wasn’t to sure of most of the information does affect what we think is true of its history. (d) These places were restored and not preserved.

The Pledge of Allegiance has a lot of worth. It represents those who faught to protect our country, and those who died for it. It is a sign of respect and appreciation for our brave armed foces. Overall this is an anthem that unites our country.

I guess the South is filled with African American culture. From the music, to te art, to the literature, to the historical movements. I think it would be harder to not be proud of one and be proud of the other. When most people think ofthe South, they think of African American culture.

The idea tha everything comes easier for an american no longer exist within me. We have to work just as hard as most and maybe even harder than a few. The stereotype that Americans are not appreciative of everything they have still exist in my opinion. This is because I myself as well as many other take a lot of opportunites for granted because eith we dont realize it or we are just ignorrant to the fact.
